Brother Ali - Us [2009]

Its starting to seem like I'm just sticking to Rhymesayers, so after this post, ill branch out for a while. But this has to be mentioned. Us, by the albino Brother Ali, is probably one of my top 5 favorite albums. He picked up right where he left off with the Undisputed Truth, with songs all over the map. He graces topics from slavery to apartments, and does so in a way where everyone can feel the pain or love in his songs.

Tracklist:
1. Brothers And Sisters (Feat. Chuck D. & Stokley Williams)
2. The Preacher
3. Crown Jewel
4. House Keys
5. Fresh Air
6. Tight Rope
7. Breakin’ Dawn
8. The Travelers
9. Babygirl
10. ‘Round Here
11. Bad Mufucker Pt. II (ft Murs)
12. Best @ it (Feat. Freeway & Joell Ortiz)
13. Games
14. Slippin’ Away
15. You Say (Puppy Love)
16. US (Feat. Stokley Williams)

The song US, kind of the epitome of the album:
