Macklemore + Ryan Lewis - The VS EP (Redux) [2010]

Macklemore is a recovering drug addict and badass rapper. Ryan Lewis is a really damn artsy producer. They are both from Seattle, and together they make really good music. I listened to the un-redux version of this album on repeat for about a month, and while i don't appreciate all the remixes on the Redux, I uploaded this version so you listeners out there could appreciate Otherside Remix (Ft. Fences), which is so good that I have to use the internet to find a word to describe it. I found these: A-1, accomplishedadmirableattractivecapital,certified, championchoicechoicest, desirable,distinctivedistinguishedestimable, exceptional,exemplaryexquisitefinefinestfirstfirst-classfirst-rate, goodgreathighincomparable,invaluablemagnificentmeritoriousnotable,notedoutstandingpeerlesspiked, premium,pricelessprimeselectskillfulsterlingstriking,superbsuperlativesupremetiptop, top-notch,transcendentworld-class.

Blue Scholars - Bayani (Redux) [2009]

I dont know how i got this far without mentioning Blue Scholars, but here is their most recognized LP so far, with some extra tracks. Bayani was originally released in 2007, but was re-issued with 2 songs from old EPs and one new song. MC Geologic and DL/Producer Sabzi really mesh well with this one, creating laid back beats and lyrics (for the most part) that still keep you listening. The songs get better as you play them for sure.

Tracklist:
01 Baha’i Healing Prayer
02 Second Chapter
03 Opening Salvo
04 North By Northwest
05 Ordinary Guy
06 Still Got Love
07 Bayani
08 Loyalty
09 Fire For the People
10 Xenophobia
11 The Distance
12 Back Home

Living Legends - Legendary Music, Vol. 1 [2006]

Living Legends is a loose collective of MCs from around the world. With this album, they are even looser than usual, as many of the songs, such as "Artsy" are from solo artists within the collective (in this case the Grouch). Anywho, this album is the tits, I was going to suggest one song to look at, but they are all too good to put one above another.

Tracklist:
1.Aesop - 'Moving at the Speed of Life' (feat. Slug)
2.Lucky - 'Another Day' (feat. Marty James)
3.Grouch - 'Artsy'
4.Bicasso - 'She's The One'
5.Sunspot Jonz - 'Purple Kush'
6.Murs - 'Love You Like This'
7.Lucky - 'Rap, Rap, Rap'
8.Bicasso - 'Think Big'
9.3 Melancholy Gypsys - '2010'

Kero One - Early Believers [2009]

Kero one, a korean MC/Producer/DJ, had gained success in Japan with his debut album Windmills of the Soul. However, the bay area artist did not receive much recognition until his next album, Early Believers, from his own Plug Label label. Enjoy..

Marv Ellis - Dream Catcher Juice [2008]

The first time I heard a song off this album was one of those "holy shit" moments. The fact that I found a song i liked so much by someone i had never even heard of on a list of rappers or anything was amazing. Although Marv Ellis himself doesn't like the label "underground", this album is pretty damn underground. And really good.

Brother Ali - Us [2009]

Its starting to seem like I'm just sticking to Rhymesayers, so after this post, ill branch out for a while. But this has to be mentioned. Us, by the albino Brother Ali, is probably one of my top 5 favorite albums. He picked up right where he left off with the Undisputed Truth, with songs all over the map. He graces topics from slavery to apartments, and does so in a way where everyone can feel the pain or love in his songs.

Tracklist:
1. Brothers And Sisters (Feat. Chuck D. & Stokley Williams)
2. The Preacher
3. Crown Jewel
4. House Keys
5. Fresh Air
6. Tight Rope
7. Breakin’ Dawn
8. The Travelers
9. Babygirl
10. ‘Round Here
11. Bad Mufucker Pt. II (ft Murs)
12. Best @ it (Feat. Freeway & Joell Ortiz)
13. Games
14. Slippin’ Away
15. You Say (Puppy Love)
16. US (Feat. Stokley Williams)
